Ingredients:
2 package(s) yeast
1/2 cup(s) warm water
4 1/2 cup(s) flour
1/4 cup(s) sugar
1 teaspoon(s) salt
6 tablespoon(s) butter
1 egg
1 cup(s) milk, scalded and cooled
1/4 cup(s) butter
Directions:
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water and set aside til bubbly. Sift flour, measure and sift 2 cups of it with the sugar and salt.
2. Add 6 T butter, egg, yeast mixture, and cooled milk to the flour; beat at high speed about 2 min. Beat in remaining flour by hand. Cover bowl and let rise about 45 min. Pour half of the 1/4 c butter into 9x13 baking pan tilting pan to cover bottom. Beat down batter and drop by spoonfuls into the buttered pan making about 15 (24?) rolls.
3. Drizzle remaining butter over dough. Let rise another 30 min. Bake 425 for 12-17 min or until rolls are lightly browned.
