Frost a spice cake, chocolate cupcakes, or perhaps a pumpkin spice cake - butterscotch frosting would compliment these cakes just dandy.
Ingredients:
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup margarine softened
1 cup chopped nuts
2 tablespoons milk
Directions:
1. mix all ingredients until well blended and smooth
2. can leave out the nuts and sprinkle nuts on cake only AFTER you spread the frosting
3. spread on a baked warm cake and put cake in oven on broil for three minutes, until nuts are slightly browned
