Butterscotch Cashew Bars

This recipe makes a big batch! A great salty sweet rec ipe that stores well!
Ingredients:
bottom
1 c plus 2 tb butter, softened
3/4 c plus 2 tb packed brown sugar
2 1/2 c flour
1 3/4 tsp salt
topping
1 pkg butterscotch chips
1/2 c plus 2 tb light corn syrup
3 tb butter
2 tsp water
2 1/2 c salted cashew halves
Directions:
1. In large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar for bottom.
2. Combine flour and salt and add to creamed mixture.
3. Press into a greased 15x10x1 pan and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. - Should be lightly browned.
4. Combine chips, corn syrup, butter and water in a sauce pan.
5. Stir over medium heat until melted.
6. Spread over crust.
7. Sprinkle on cashews and press down lightly.
8. Bake for approx. 12 minutes or until bubbly and lightly browned.
9. Cool and cut.
