Butterscotch Brownies

Like the original, but no chocolate! Only butterscotch!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
Directions:
1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.
2. Melt butter over medium heat in a sauce pan.
3. Stir in brown sugar until it disolves.
4. Cool Slightly.
5. Beat in Egg and Vanilla.
6. Sift Flour, Salt, and Baking Powder.
7. Stir into Butter - Sugar Mixture.
8. Put in a Greased pan.
9. Cook 20-25 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
