Ingredients:
1 c vegetable shortening
2 c granulated sugar
2 c all purpose flour
1 c self rising flour
1 c milk
4 eggs
2 t vanilla
2 t butternut flavoring
cream sugar and shortening. add eggs one at a time and beat until creamy. add flour alternating with milk. add flavors. beat on low speed until all ingredients are blended and mixture is smooth. bake in three 9-inch round pans at 350ยบ for approximately 25-30 minutes. do not over bake.

2. 4 C Powdered Sugar
3. 1 stick margarine
4. 1 8-oz pkg cream cheese
5. 1 C finely chopped nuts
6. 1 1/2 C flake coconut
7. 1 T vanilla
8. 1 T butternut flavoring
9. Melt margarine and cream cheese over low heat. Pour into mixing bowl. Add sugar and beat until smooth. Fold in nuts, coconut and flavorings until thoroughly mixed. Spread on cool cake layers. If icing is too stiff, add a little milk.
