I got this one off another site, last winter. I loved it! It's simple, so easy and has a great flavor. I love that you can serve hot or cold.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 quart buttermilk
1 pint whole milk (can use 2%)
2 1/2 tablespoons tapioca
1 stick cinnamon
3 lemon slices
3/4 cup sugar
1 pinch salt
Directions:
1. Combine buttermilk, whole milk, tapioca, cinnamon and lemon.
2. Cook slowly 1 hour, stirring often to prevent scorching.
3. Add sugar and salt.
4. Serve hot or cold.
