Buttermilk Substitutions

I thought they were worth posting on this site. The cooking time is actually the standing time.
Ingredients:
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice, combined, or
1 tablespoon vinegar, combined or
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons cream of tartar, combined or
1/3 cup milk
2/3 cup plain yogurt, combined or
1/3 cup milk
2/3 cup sour cream, combined
Directions:
1. Mix any one of the combinations thoroughly, and let stand on the counter for at least 10 minutes.
2. Note: The original recipe said 1 PART milk to 2 PARTS of either the yogurt or sour cream, but this computer doesn't recognize 'parts', so I subbed in the cups.
