An old recipe from Lucille Meier.
Ingredients:
1 pie crust, baked
2 cups buttermilk
3 egg yolks
3 egg whites, beaten stiff
salt
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon lemon extract
Directions:
1. bake as for lemon pie
2. This is what I'm guessing has to happen:
3. Mix the egg yolks, extract, buttermilk, flour and salt together. Pour into baked pie shell.
4. Bake 25 minutes or until set.
5. Pour over egg whites.
6. Brown in oven 5 more minutes.
