Buttermilk Lemon Pie

Ingredients:
1 (9 inch) pie crusts
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups buttermilk
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1/4 cup butter (melted)
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon lemon peel (grated)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions:
1. .Line a 9 in pie plate with crust.
2. Trim, seal and flute edges.
3. In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour,and salt.
4. In another large bowl beat buttermilk,eggs,butter,lemon juice,lemon peel and vanilla.
5. Add to dry mixture, mix well.
6. Pour into pie crust.
7. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
8. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes.
9. Reduce tempeture to 325 and bake 40 -45 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes clean.
10. Cool and refridgerate.
