From the Charlotte Cookbook 1969.
Ingredients:
12 pieces bread
8 ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
2 egg yolks
3 teaspoons paprika, to taste
Directions:
1. Mix cheese, margarine, and yolk together until fluffy.
2. With a biscuit cutter or bottle cap about the size of a 50 cent piece, cut out rounds from bread without crust. spread mixture on rounds and lightly sprinkle with paprika.
3. Place under broiler for a few minutes, until bubbly and brown.
