A gooey rich dessert topping for your favorite ice cream or pound cake.
Ingredients:
10 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons cornstarch
3/4 cup whipping cream
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup pecans, toasted and chopped
Directions:
1. In a heavy saucepan, combine dry ingredients, gradually stirring in cream until smooth.
2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
3. Cook and stir 2-3 minutes or until slightly thickened.
4. Remove from heat, stir in butter until melted.
5. Add pecans.
6. Serve warm over ice cream.
