boneless marinated chicken cooked in onion tomato cashew gravy
Ingredients:
boneless chicken-1 cup
for marination
turmeric powder-1 tea spoon
chilly powder-11/2 tea spoon
salt-as needed
for gravy
onion-sliced-icup
tomato sliced-i cup
ginger garlic paste-i teaspoon
cashew nut-1/4 cup
chilly powder-1 tea spoon
coriander powder-1 teaspoon
cardamom-4 or5 pods
cinnamon stick-1 inch piece
cloves-2 or3
butter-50gm
milk cream-1/2 cup
milk-2 tablespoon(optional)
oil for frying
coriander leaves-for garnishing
Directions:
1. marinate chicken pieces .keep it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
2. saute well ginger garlic paste in oil till light brown.
3. add sliced onion ,saute well till onions become transparent
4. then add tomatoes saute well till the oil appear seperately.
5. add cardamom, cinnmon cloves ,coriander powder and chilly powder saute well for 5 more minutes.
6. add cashews.
7. grind this after it is cool.
8. add some cream to it ,mix well.
9. fry chicken pieces
10. to the fried chicken pieces add this ground paste .
11. add salt .
12. add some milk to this gravy if it is thick.boil it for some time
13. add the butter to it.
14. switch off the stove
15. garnish with coriander leaves
