This dish has a nice spicy flavor but not hot. Is great when served over rice.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup chopped onion
2 teaspoons ginger
1 tablespoon garlic
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 (16 -19 ounce) can diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 rotisserie-cooked chicken
1/3 cup light cream
1/4 cup light sour cream
1 tablespoon cilantro
Directions:
1. Melt butter in skillet.
2. Add garlic and onions. Fry 2-3 minute.
3. Add rest of ingredients down to chicken. Simmer on low for 10 minute.
4. Add chicken and creams and simmer 5 minute.
5. Serve over rice and garnish with cilantro.
