Butter Almond Pound Cake With Butter Almond-orange...

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour a 10 inch Bundt pan.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time beat well after addition.
  5. Stir in almond extract and orange zest
  6. Combine flour baking powder and salt.
  7. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream beat on low just until blended.
  8. Fold in toasted almonds.
  9. Pour into bundt pan.
  10. Bake for 70 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  11. Cool in pan 10 minutes.
  12. Remove from pan cool completely
  13. Glaze:
  14. Combine sugar butter and enough orange juice to reach desired consistency.
  15. Add orange zest and toasted almonds.
  16. Spoon over the cake
