Burrito Burgers

Another change of pace from tacos and burritos but with a Mexican flare.
Ingredients:
1 cup refried beans
4 ounces mild green chilies, chopped
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
4 slices sharp american cheese
8 flour tortillas
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 medium tomato, chopped
salsa
Directions:
1. Combine beans, 2 tablespoons of the chili peppers, onion and 3/4 salt.
2. Add beef and mix well.
3. Form into 8- 5 inch patties.
4. Cut cheese slices in half.
5. Place 1/2 cheese slice on each beef patty.
6. Fold to seal in the cheese, forming a semicircle.
7. Grill or fry 5 to 6 minutes.
8. Turn and grill or fry 4 to 5 minutes more or until done.
9. Serve burgers in warmed tortillas.
10. Add lettuce, chopped tomatoe, salsa and remaining chilies as desired.
