Ingredients:
1 1/2 pound(s) boneless chuck roast cut into 1 1/2 cubes
2 tablespoon(s) butter
1 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil
1 turnip, large cut into 1 pieces
1 pound(s) small white onions peeled, cut
1 pound(s) carrots cut into 1 pieces
3 tablespoon(s) flour
1 cup(s) beef boullion
1 cup(s) burgundy
dash(es) worchestershire sauce
6 peppercorns
3 bay leaves
Directions:
1. heat butter and oil, brown beef, turnips, onions and carrots. Add flour, stir and cook. Add bouillon, wine, worchestershire sauce, peppercorns and bay leaves. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hrs.
