Buffalo Stew With Frybread Crust

This Native American dish features two of their most prized ingredients, buffalo and fry bread. Combined in a savory pot pie style stew presentation.
Ingredients:
1 lb of buffalo stew meat
1 teaspoon of baking powder
4 potatoes
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 medium onion
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
2 tablespoons of oil
seasoning salt
tomato sauce
fry bread dough
1/2 package frozen dinner roll dough (8 oz)
Directions:
1. Heat the oil in a stew pot, chop the onions add to heated oil. Cook for a
2. couple of minutes. Rinse your stew meat add to the onions add the seasoning
3. salt to taste and add tomato sauce stir well covering
4. all the meat add 1/2 cup of water get it boiling let cook for about 30
5. minutes add the potatoes, cover and let cook through add mushrooms.
6. Make your bread crust by rolling out the thawed dinner roll dough to a pie crust thickness twice as large as your pie dish on a floured surface. After 30 minutes has past take stew off the stove let it cool and let the dough rest for about 10 minutes then line your pie dish with dough put your stew
7. in pie dish or casserole and fold over the excess dough to form a cover. Bake for about 20 - 30 minutes.
