Ingredients:
brussels sprouts
olive oil
shallot
chicken broth
capers
cold butter
Directions:
1. wash and trim brussels sprouts
2. steam until fork tender
3. in separate pan cook sliced shallot in olive oil until transluscent
4. add cooked sprouts
5. add chicken broth until about 1/3 way up the sprouts
6. cook on low until most of the chicken broth is gone
7. add capers and butter until butter is melted
