This is a switch on what you think of for lasagna. Love to make for brunches with the girls or for dinner.
Ingredients:
1/2 c butter or margarine
1/3 c flour
1/4 tsp salt
dash pepper
3 c milk
1/4 c finely chopped green onions
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
box of lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
2 c fully cooked ham cubed
1 pkg (10 oz) broccoli thawed
1/2 c parmesan cheese grated
3 c shredded cheddar
4 hard cooked eggs finely chopped
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, melt butter over med heat
2. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth
3. Gradually add milk
4. Bring to a boil, cook and stir for 2 min until thickened
5. Remove from heat, stir in onions, lemon juice, and hot pepper sauce
6. Spread a fourth of the white sauce in a greased 9X13
7. Top with a layer of noodles, ham and broccoli, 3 T parm, handful of cheese, eggs, then white sauce.
8. Repeat layers until gone (about 3-4)
9. Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes at 350 Let stand 10minutes
