Was craving a brownie yesterday but didn't want the oven on long enough to bake some....So I came up with this and it cut the cooking time in half...The cookies on their own are awesome but Ice Cream always makes things better. Read more ....I even took a picture!!! Ingredients:
1 box of your favorite brownie mix and the ingredients it takes to make them |
1/2 tbls. instant espresso powder |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
your favorite flavor ice cream |
Directions:
1. Prepare brownie mix according to box instructions, adding espresso powder
2. On parchment lined baking sheet, drop batter by tablespoonful onto sheet
3. Bake about 10 minutes
4. Cool on baking rack
5. Put a scoop of ice cream onto one cookie ( I had coffee and husband had vanilla)
6. Top with another cookie
7. Voile, Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich
