Quite a different flavor with the bourbon and dark muscovado sugar. Almost like using crystallized molasses, with a little kick.
Ingredients:
chocolate crust-see crust page
2 pounds philly cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup dark muscovado sugar, packed
3 tbsp. flour
5 large eggs
1/3 cup bourbon
1 tea. vanilla extract
1/2 cup heavy cream
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 500^.
2. Blend cream cheese, sugar, and flour until smooth.
3. Add eggs one at a time.
4. Add bourbon and vanilla.
5. Add cream, mixing thoroughly.
6. Pour into prepared pan.
7. Bake at 500^ for 15 minutes.
8. Reduce temp to 250^ and continue baking for 1 hour.
9. Let cool and refrigerate before serving.
