Makes a savoury gravy for dipping.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons rice vinegar
2 teaspoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon oyster sauce
1 cup beef broth
1/8 teaspoon ginger
dried chili pepper flakes
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, blend starch, ginger, soy, vinegar and sugar. Slowly stir in beef broth and oyster sauce. Stir over a low heat until thickened and transparent. Stir in chili flakes. Serve hot.
