Broiled Asparagus With Soy-Ginger Vinaigrette

This vinaigrette marries up very well with the asparagus
Ingredients:
2 lbs asparagus spears, tough ends trimmed
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and black pepper
2 green onions (white and green parts, minced)
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic, minced
3 tablespoons sesame oil
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup lime juice (from 2 large limes)
1 tablespoon honey
Directions:
1. Whisk scallions, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, lime juice, and honey together in a small bowl. (this can be done in advance).
2. Toss asparagus with oil and salt and pepper, then lay spears in single layer on heavy rimmed baking sheet.
3. Broil about 4 inches from heating element, shaking pan halfway through to turn spears, until asparagus is tender and lightly browned, 8 to 10 minutes.
4. Drizzle over asparagus and serve immediately.
