I would never have thought to put these ingredients together until someone brought it to a summer party - SO addictive!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup raisins
2 cups broccoli florets, small pieces
1/2 cup green onion, thinly sliced
4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/3 cup sunflower seeds, shelled (can be salted or not)
6t mayonnaise
2t cider vinegar
2t sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground pepper
Directions:
1. Cover raisins with hot tap water and soak until plump, drain.
2. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, green onion, bacon crumbles, sunflower seeds, and drained raisins. Set aside.
3. In a small bowl, mix last 5 ingredients, pour on the broccoli mixture and toss.
4. Chill until served.
