I had this for lunch yesterday and it was so good I had to share. = )
Ingredients:
5 cups fresh broccoli - chopped in bite size pieces
1/2 cup raisins - golden or regular
1/4 cup red onion - chopped
1 cup mayonnaise - i use 1/2 c and dilute it with a little milk
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
12 cooked bacon slices - crumbled
3/4 cup sunflower seeds - i add a little extra = )
Directions:
1. Toss the broccoli, raisins, and onion in a large bowl. In a small bowl whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, and pepper. Toss the dressing with the broccoli mixture. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Before serving, toss with the bacon and sunflower seeds.
