Broccoli Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients:
1 (12 ounce) package fettuccine
1 cup fresh broccoli or 1 cup frozen broccoli
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Directions:
1. Cook fettuccine according to package directions.
2. Bring 1 of water and broccoli to a boil.
3. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 4-6 minutes longer or until crisp-tender. Drain.
4. In a large saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour until smooth.
5. Gradually whisk in milk. Bring to a boil, cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat.
6. Stir in Parmesan cheese and broccoli.
7. Drain fettuccine and top with broccoli mixture.
