Fresh fruit is blended together for this simple morning boost. Adding just a bit of ice cream makes it smoother, creamier, and adds a bit of coolness and calcium. Sub with frozen yogurt, if desired.
Ingredients:
4 cups cold not from concentrate orange juice(even better if you use one like simply orange with pineapple)
2 small bananas, halved
about 10 fresh strawberries(medium sized)
1 lime or half a lemon
1 good scoop(1/3 cup or so) vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
1/2 cup sparkling water, club soda, etc
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients, other than ice cream and club soda to blender.
2. Blend until well combined, frothy and fairly smooth.
3. Add ice cream and soda and pulse again to blend.
4. Serve immediately.
