This if from the back of my Heath™ English Toffee Bits bag. Thought they sounded good, and WOW are they. Just came out of the oven less than 1/2 hour ago.... And yeah, I only had one. ;')
Ingredients:
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine (softened)
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 1/3 cups (8-oz pkg.) of heath™ bits 'o brickle
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350ºF. Lightly grease cookie sheet.
2. Beat butter, sugars, vanilla and salt in large bowl until blended.
3. Add eggs, beat well.
4. Stir together flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar; gradually add to butter mixture. beating till blended. Stir in toffee bits.
5. Drop by heaping teaspoons onto prepared cookie sheet See Photo. Bake 8-10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove to wire rack (I used wax paper). Cool completely.
