This is a really good recipe for a cheesy, meaty, breakfasty, fun appetizer. I learned it from my sister's boyfriend, and am keeping it here so I won't lose it.
Ingredients:
2 cups pancake mix (bisquick)
2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar works nicely)
1 (16 ounce) roll of pork sausage (jimmy dean maple)
1 teaspoon dry mustard
2 -4 tablespoons water
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375.
2. Mix the cheese pancake mix, and dry mustard in a large bowl.
3. Break up the sausage roll into smaller bits and add to the bowl.
4. Add 2 tablespoons of water and continue to mix.
5. If it seems to dry add more water so that it is a fairly sticky mixture.
6. Roll into balls about the size of a golf ball and place on an non-greased cooking sheet. (A pizza pan works nicely, and you will most likely need two no matter what).
7. Put in the oven for about 17 minutes.
8. Serve with syrup, ranch, honey mustard, etc.
