Ingredients:

  • 8 eggs
  • 1 (5 oz) can evaporated milk
  • 1 (6 oz) can mushrooms
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1 garlic clove

Directions:

  1. Night before:
  2. Cube bread.
  3. Put in greased 13x9 dish.
  4. Chop garlic, onion.
  5. Saute until soft.
  6. Add and brown sausage.
  7. Drain.
  8. Add mushrooms.
  9. Salt, pepper to taste.
  10. Cool.
  11. Put in large bowl, add eggs, milk.
  12. Pour over bread.
  13. Cover, refrigerate overnite.
  14. Next day:.
  15. Preheat oven 350.
  16. Put cheese on top.
  17. Cover with aluminum.
  18. Bake 40-45 minute.
  19. Uncover.
  20. Bake 10-15 minute.
  21. Let stand 10 minute.
