Made from ground turkey for a healthier alternative to traditional pork sausage Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground turkey |
1/2 finely chopped onion |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 teaspoons sage |
1 teaspoon caraway seed |
1 teaspoon thyme |
1 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon cayenne |
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon onion powder |
1/4 teaspoon marjoram |
1/4 teaspoon celery seed |
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon allspice |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together. 2. Coat griddle or frypan with cooking spray (I like Crisco's olive oil spray). 3. Form into patties and brown each side for about 2 minutes on hot griddle. 4. Continue cooking over medium low until done. |
