Made from ground turkey for a healthier alternative to traditional pork sausage
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground turkey
1/2 finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons sage
1 teaspoon caraway seed
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
1/4 teaspoon celery seed
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon allspice
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Coat griddle or frypan with cooking spray (I like Crisco's olive oil spray).
3. Form into patties and brown each side for about 2 minutes on hot griddle.
4. Continue cooking over medium low until done.
