my daughter gets so excited when I make rice at dinner because she knows there will be leftover rice for momma's famous rice in the morning.
Ingredients:
leftover cooked brown rice (basmati is best!)
frozen mixed berries
maple syrup
handful of slivered almonds
butter
milk or cream
cinnamon
maybe some banana slices
and a touch of vanilla
Directions:
1. lightly brown almond slivers in skillet over medium heat
2. heat up a bowl of rice
3. butter it up
4. splash of maple syrup
5. handful of berries
6. handful of fragrant warm almonds
7. dash of cinnamon.
8. pour a bit of cream or milk over all.
