Here's a wonderful, inexpensive breakfast that will stick to your ribs! This has something for everyone! It takes no time to fix and the whole family will love it! Note**I am terrible about not looking for sizes on foods,so I'm guestimating the amount of sausage. I just see the Jimmy Dean package of sausage and go! So you may have some leftover sausage, I believe, though it's either 1/2-3/4 lb.
Ingredients:
3/4 lb jimmy dean sausage
8 slices cinnamon-raisin bread
8 slices sharp cheddar cheese
4 eggs
butter
Directions:
1. Take sausage and form 4 large patties. Cook sausage and put aside.
2. Crack eggs into skillet, make sure to break the yolks. Cook and then put aside.
3. Butter one side of each slice of bread. Put a slice of bread in skillet, butter down, then place the ingredients as follows: cheese, sausage, egg, cheese and the other slice of bread, buttered side up. Cook and flip and cook until cheese is melted.
