A quick, nutritious breakfast on-the-go. I soak my oats in any juice- 1cup oats to 1 cup liquid. These are all approximate measurements. Adjust according to taste. I use stick blender. This is not a thick drink. Water can be replaced with milk or I guess any liquid you like.
Ingredients:
3 -4 tablespoons pre-soaked oats
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)
2 tablespoons greek yogurt
1 teaspoon molasses (optional)
1 teaspoon protein powder
fruit (fresh or tinned, to equivalent of about 1/2 banana)
nuts (optional)
1/2 cup water, depends on amount and kind of fruit used
Directions:
1. Put everything in measuring jug and blend with stick blender.
