It suggests adding cream, ice cream or whipped topping but for breakfast I prefer to add a little cream or low-fat milk over the top.
Ingredients:
2 medium tart apples
2 tablespoons splenda brown sugar blend or 1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (i used baking spice blend mix)
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1/2 cup granola cereal (with fruit and nuts)
milk (optional)
cream (optional)
Directions:
1. Core and slice apples,.
2. place in Crockette.
3. Add the remaining ingredients; mix thoroughly; cover and cook for 8 to 10 hours.
4. Serve with toppings of your choice.
