Calorie-reduced version of Muna Escobar's Baked Oatmeal
Ingredients:
1/3 cup applesauce, unsweetened
1/2 cup egg beaters
4 oz splenda
1/8 cup sugar free syrup
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
9 ounces fat free milk
3 cups oats, old fashioned type
Directions:
1. Combine egg beaters, Splenda, syrup, baking powder, vanilla & cinnamon until there are no more lumps. Whisk in applesauce & milk. Stir in oats.
2. Place in greased 11/2- to 2- qt baking dish. Chill overnight.
3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or until set.
4. Great with milk over it, honey, syrup or as is.
