Bread Pudding With Whiskey Sauce

Jack Daniels is such a great ingredient for so many dishes...And this is one of them
Ingredients:
bread pudding
2 eggs
2 tbls. butter, melted
2 tbls. vanilla
2 1/2 cups milk
2 cups sugar
2 cups sourdough bread, cut into 1 cubes
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
whiskey sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 cup cream
1/4 cup jack daniels
Directions:
1. Bread Pudding
2. Preheat oven to 325
3. With hand mixer, beat eggs
4. Add butter, vanilla and milk
5. Gradually add sugar and mix until sugar is dissolved
6. Put bread cubes in bottom of a 9-inch baking dish
7. Pour egg mixture over bread, making sure bread is fully saturated Sprinkle pecans over top and push them down into bread
8. Bake 50-55 minutes
9. Whiskey Sauce
10. Put all ingredients in saucepan
11. Stir over low heat until mixture reaches a low, rolling boil
12. Keep warm
13. Pour sauce over bread pudding when plated
