A nice change from your usual after-dinner coffee and entertaining, this tempting coffee, cocoa combo will warm you up on cool days and nights. Top with whipped cream for a nice sweet treat -
Ingredients:
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 (300 ml) can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk (regular or low-fat)
4 cups water
2 1/2 cups strong coffee
1 tablespoon imitation rum (or to taste) or 1 tablespoon brandy extract (or to taste)
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan combine cocoa and salt. Stir in sweetened condensed milk.
2. Over medium heat, slowly stir in water and coffee; heat thoroughly but do not boil. Stir in rum extract. Serve immediately.
3. Garnish with whipped cream for a nice treat!
