Bran muffins with whole wheat flour, splenda no calorie, applesauce, and egg beaters
Ingredients:
8 cups bran flakes
1 quart skim milk
4 t lemon juice
5 cups gold medal whole wheat flour
3 cups splenda no calorie
4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup applesauce
1 cup egg beaters
Directions:
1. mix 4 T lemon juice and enough milk to make 1 quart (as substitute for buttermilk)
2. mix oil, milk, egg beaters w/wire wisk
3. add flour, soda, splenda, and salt
4. add bran
5. bake at 400 for 15-20 min
