Braised Brussels Sprouts With Peppers

Just a different twist on brussels sprouts. Very tasty
Ingredients:
1 lb brussels sprouts
1 tsp veg. oil
1/2 tsp caraway seeds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 small jalepeno; seeded and minced
1/3 cup chicken broth
1 jar roasted red peppers; reised and finely chopped
salt &pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Trim brussels sprouts and slice each on in half vertically.
2. Carve out the core of each half and slice the sprouts crosswise into shreds.
3. In a non stick skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
4. Add caraway and mustard seeds and cook, stirring for 1 minute . Stir in broth.
5. Stir in jalepenos and the sprouts and cook.
6. Cover pan tightly and reduce heat to low and simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until sprouts are just tender.
7. Stir in red peppers and season with salt &pepper.
8. Serve immediately
