A friend made it for an office affair and I have never tasted anything so good. A perfect compliment to your favorite veggies (I LOVE it with celery), crackers, bread or anything your imagination can stir up. Read more . I believe Paula Deen's son Bobby came up with this. He certainly made his Mama proud. Try and enjoy.
Ingredients:
1- 3 oz. package cream cheese (or eyeball an 8 oz. block the best you can to make 3 oz.), room temperature
1 cup - grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup - grated monterey jack cheese
1/2 cup - mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon - house seasoning
2 to 3 tablespoons - pimentos smashed
1 teaspoon - grated onion
cracked black pepper - to taste
house seasoning
1 cup - salt (the batch i tasted was made with sea salt)
1/4 cup - black pepper
1/4 cup - garlic powder
mix ingredients together..........
store and use in other recipes!! it can be stored in an airtight container for up to 6 months
Directions:
1. Using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
2. Add all the remaining ingredients and beat until well blended.
3. Chill or serve at room temperature.
4. I may be lying on the # of servings this recipe makes! Little scoops serves 15 - 20, big scoops like I took maybe 8 to 10...... :-)
