Ingredients:
1/2 cup third less fat margarine, such as imperial |
1 cup self-rising flour |
1/2 cup sugar substitute, divided |
3/4 cup nonfat milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 cups fresh blueberries |
1/2 cup water |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Melt margarine in a shallow 1-1/2 quart baking dish. 3. Combine flour, 1/4 cup sugar, milk and vanilla in mixing bowl; pour evenly over melted margarine. 4. Combine berries, remaining 1/4 cup sugar (which has been combined with cinnamon& nutmeg) and water. 5. Spoon evenly over flour mixture. 6. Do not stir. 7. Bake 40 to 45 minutes, until bubbling and top is golden brown. |
