Blueberry Scones

This is the best every scone recipe.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup blueberries, dried (i used dried mixed berries)
1-3/4 cup flour, sifted
2 1/4 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup butter
2 egg
1/3 cup cream (i find that it takes a little bit more because there is a good deal of dry ingredients left in bottom of mixing bowl)
Directions:

2. Mix together flour, baking powder, 1 tbsp sugar and salt in a bowl.
3. Cut in butter, using a pastry blender or two knives.
4. Stir in blueberries.
5. In a separate bowl, beat eggs.
6. Add eggs to dry ingredients. Pour in cream.
7. Combine with a few swift strokes.
8. Place on a slightly floured board and pat or roll to a thickness of 3/4-inch (I did this step on parchment paper so you can transfer directly to baking sheet-no need to flour the surface).
9. Cut with a knife into diamond shapes or into 2-inch rounds.
10. Brush with cream and sprinkle with sugar (I used sugar crystals; but it really makes no difference).
11. Bake for 15 -20 minutes until golden brown.
