Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup quick oats
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 3 tbsp applesauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 tbsp sugar

Directions:

  1. Combine the oats, flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and nutmeg.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Mix in butter until crumbly.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then mix in orange juice and vanilla.
  5. Combine the two mixtures and blend.
  6. Drain the blueberries and combine with mix.
  7. Put batter in a greased pan.
  8. Brush the topc with the melted butter and top with sugar.
  9. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes or until browned on top.
