Excellent easy recipe from The Blueberry Cook Book
Ingredients:
4 cups fresh blueberries
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup water
2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons butter
add enough milk, to make soft dough
Directions:
1. Heat berries and spices.
2. Boil gently and cook down.
3. Drop dumplings by spoons in hot berry sauce.
4. Cover and cook 15 minutes.
5. To serve: spoon out biscuits and pour sauce over.
