Blue Cheese Toasts With Walnuts

Ingredients:
6 ounces blue cheese
6 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 tablespoon cognac
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons finely chopped walnuts
4 slices thin bread
Directions:
1. Preheat oven or broiler for the toast.
2. Cream cheese and butter together.
3. Add cognac then season with pepper and stir in walnuts.
4. Toast bread lightly on both sides then spread cheese over toast.
5. Return it to the oven or broiler just long enough for the butter and cheese to melt.
6. Remove toasts from oven then dust with more pepper and cut them into smaller pieces.
7. Serve warm.
