Blue Cheese And Shallot Bread

Nice,easy ,quick to make blue cheese and shallot bread.
Ingredients:
1/2c chopped shallots
3tbs butter
2c all purpose flour
1tbs sugar
21/2tsp baking powder
1tsp salt
1tsp ground mustard
1/4c cold butter
1 egg
1c milk
3/4c crumbled blue cheese
2tbs grated parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. In small skillet,saute shallots in butter till tender;set aside
2. In a large bowl,combine flour,sugar,baking powder,salt and mustard. Cut in butter till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. In a small bowl,whisk egg and milk. Stir into crumb mixture just till moistened. Fold in cheeses and reserved shallot mixture.
3. Transfer to a greased 8x4 loaf pan . Bake at 325 for 50-60 mins. or till toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool for 10 mins before removing from pan to wire rack.
