A friend gave this recipe to me it's light for a summer day. I've also added other things to it, like avocado and red onion with croutons. And when I'm in a hurry I use bag o'salad. Cooking time is estimated.
Ingredients:
1 head lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
12 slices bacon (cooked)
1 -2 tomato, diced
salt and pepper
1/2 cup mayonnaise or 1/2 cup miracle whip (which ever you prefer) or 1/2 ranch dressing
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. In bowl add tomatoes, bacon and lettuce.
2. Add mayo or dressing and gently fold to combine all ingredients and to coat all the ingredients.
3. Add pepper and salt to taste.
