Bleu Cheese Asparagus Rolls

Another quick and easy appetizer from Greay Gables Bed & Breakfast. Uses canned asparagus, you could use steamed fresh asparagus if you prefer. As presented on a local news program
Ingredients:
1 loaf white bread
1 8-ounce package cream cheese
1 4-ounce package bleu cheese
2 eggs
1 16-ounce can asparagus spears, drained well and patted dry
1/2 cup butter, melted
Directions:
1. Trim crust from bread and roll very thin.
2. Combine cheese and eggs, blending well.
3. Spread mixture on bread.
4. Place one asparagus spear to one side of bread and roll up.
5. Dip or brush rolls with melted butter and place on a baking sheet.
6. These rolls may be frozen at this time. If so, let thaw before baking.
7. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. To serve slice in half.
