A simple pudding that packs a unique taste. I like mine with a spoonful of red raspberry preserves. It's also great with caramel sauce.
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups milk
1 stick cinnamon
1 piece lemon peel
1/4 tsp salt
3 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
1. Boil 2 cups of mils with the cinnamon, lemon peel and salt.
2. Dissolve the cornstarch in the remaining milk. Add the sugar to the hot milk. As you're stirring, pour in the cornstarch.
3. Stir constantly over medium heat until thickened.
4. Remove from heat, add the vanilla, and remove the lemon peel.
5. Cool enough to put in the refrigerator and allow to chill completely.
